Your rights
Missouri House Bill 595 (2025) nullified St. Louis's local source-of-income ordinance and expressly allows landlords to decline Housing Choice Vouchers — so a private landlord may now legally refuse your voucher, and Missouri has no statewide protection. Federal Fair Housing protections still apply: a landlord may not refuse you based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, or disability.
Neighborhood
The Grand Center and Delmar area sits west of downtown St. Louis, served by Metro Transit (MetroBus) routes and near the MetroLink Grand station.
