About Abundance Square

How to apply

  1. Apply online through hano.org when the public housing or Housing Choice Voucher waitlist is open

Rent is about 30% of adjusted household income — there is no flat market rent.

Your rights

Louisiana has no source-of-income protection, and New Orleans has no local ordinance — a private landlord may legally decline a Housing Choice Voucher. Fair Housing law still protects you from discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, or disability.

Neighborhood

The Upper 9th Ward sits east of the French Quarter, served by New Orleans RTA bus routes with connections toward downtown.
