Your rights

Louisiana has no source-of-income protection, and New Orleans has no local ordinance — a private landlord may legally decline a Housing Choice Voucher. Fair Housing law still protects you from discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, or disability.

Neighborhood

Central City sits west of the Central Business District, served by New Orleans RTA bus routes with connections downtown.
